Umpires are critical for the success of Central Loudoun Little League and to ensure our youth have an opportunity to learn and play the game of baseball according to the rules. Umpires are required for games from our AA division and up, including the big-field divisions.
CLLL is proud to provide a youth umpire program - an opportunity for youth to participate in the success of our league and receive compensation for their efforts (compensation levels are listed below). Youth umpires must be at least league age 12.
Adult umpires are not compensated, but adult umpires who umpire at least 5 games in the Spring Season are provided a credit for one registration the following spring.
All umpires are provided training from CLLL and District 16 and the necessary equipment to ensure safe and fair environment.
If you are interested in umpiring, please contact the Umpire in Chief expressing your interest so that you can be invited to the umpire management system. Please note that each umpire needs their own individual account. Once you contact the Umpire in Chief, you will receive additional instructions for on-boarding to the CLLL Umpire Program.
