WELCOME TO CENTRAL LOUDOUN LITTLE LEAGUE
Welcome to Central Loudoun Little League (CLLL), where "Promoting the spirit of Little League Baseball" is our motto and our vision. CLLL is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization chartered by Little League International. Our league is funded entirely by registration fees, fundraising, concession profits, and sponsor donations.

CLLL prides itself on being an organization that teaches the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play to all of the children in the community. With approximately 1,500 participating boys and girls, CLLL is a volunteer organization managed by a Board of Directors and operated by dozens of dedicated volunteers.

CLLL is affiliated with the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services and the Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department and a member of District 16 Little League. District 16's serves Loudoun and Fauquier Counties and their respective Little League Programs (Central Loudoun LL, Dulles LL, Loudoun South LLUpper Loudoun LL, Lower Loudoun LL and Loudoun Girls Softball).

We look forward to your family's participation. See you on the field.

New Proof of Age and Residency Policy
posted 1/18/2012 by CY
Per Little League policy, each family is to provide a copy of the player’s birth certificate and 3 proofs of residency establishing residency in the CLLL boundaries as of or earlier than February 1, 2012.  Per guidelines, CLLL will be retaining the copy of this documentation.  The birth certificate need only be provided once during the player’s tenure with CLL while residency must be re-established each season.

The good news is that most families probably already have 3 valid proofs of residency in their car.  If you can provide a copy of your driver’s license, car registration and proof of car insurance.  As long as those 3 documents have your address on it then the residency requirement has been satisfied!  For additional qualifying documents, visit our Eligibility and Boundary page.

Please note: Multiple utility bills cannot be used.  Little League only allows us to accept 1 as a proof of residency, in addition to 2 other proofs.

Each family should provide CLLL with a copy of the player’s birth certificate and 3 proofs of residency to CLLL via Email.

*  Email:
If you have the ability to scan your documents, you may scan them and email them to the Player Agent at clllresidency@gmail.com.  Please make sure the scans are legible.

*  Tryouts:
Do NOT bring your information to tryouts.  Coordinating this information along with trying to process the kids for their evaluations presents a number of logisitical problems that we would like to avoid.

This new requirement puts us more in line with the expectations of Little League, International and removes some of the burden on the team Managers at the beginning of the season.  All players will be required to have provided this documentation to the league prior to the beginning of practices in March, or the player will not be able to participate in practices or in games.

This is a significant change to how we, as CLLL families, have grown accustomed to so we appreciate your support as we implement this new procedure.

CLLL and Loudoun Interfaith Relief
posted 1/10/2012 by CY
In keeping with the community spirit of Little League baseball, this year Central Loudoun Little League (CLLL) will be conducting a food drive in support of Loudoun Interfaith Relief (LIR).

Loudoun Interfaith Relief is a non-profit organization located in Leesburg that provides food to Loudoun County residents in need.  Last year donations to LIR provided over 75,000 individuals with enough food to prepare more than 750,000 meals.  LIR requires either proof of residency or a referral and personal identification in order to receive assistance.

Within the Central Loudoun Little League’s boundaries (roughly zip codes 20175 and 20176), approximately 20% of all elementary school age children are eligible for free or reduced cost lunches.  These are families in our community and these are CLLL-age kids.

We are asking that each player bring 2 food items from the following list to our Opening Night Ceremonies on Friday April 13th at Freedom Park:

1. Cereal
2. 100% juice
3. Canned fruit
4. Canned meats (tuna or chicken)
5. Macaroni & cheese
6. Chef Boyardee products
7. Canned soups with meat and vegetables

In addition to our initial donation efforts on opening day, a collection point will be established at the Murphy Building at Good Times Park that will be open throughout the season.

To learn more about Loudoun Interfaith Relief, please visit www.interfaithrelief.org

Thank you for supporting CLLL and Loudoun Interfaith Relief.

Sincerely,

CLLL Board of Directors
Managers/Assistant Coaches Still Needed!

How to apply to be considered for a Manager/Assistant Coaching Position:

If you have already registered on the CLLL.org website just go to www.CLLL.org and click REGISTER ONLINE on the left toolbar.  Select VOLUNTEER from the drop down menu and select the "2012 Spring Baseball - Manager/Adult Game Coordinator/Volunteer Registration" program and login with your email address and password.

If your forgot your password or if you are new to the league, thats OK.  Just enter your EMAIL ADDRESS ONLY in the login form and your password will be emailed to that address.  If you cannot recall what email address you used to create your account, send an email to clllwebmaster@gmail.com and we can help get you back on track rather than having you go through the process of re-entering all of your information.  Once you have that info and can log into the site, please continue with the volunteer registration.  Please be sure to fill our ALL fields on the form completely and provide as much information as possible.  Also, please note that simply applying to become a manager or assistant coach does not guarantee that you will be given a team.  Managers and Assistant Coaches for all levels must be approved by the Board of Directors.

CLLL FIELD STATUS
posted 3/9/2011 by CLLL
We are now using the new www.CLLL.org for daily field status updates. CLLL will look to post field status by 4:15 pm each weekday, and by 8:00 am each weekend morning after coordinating with volunteers that review Good Times Park as well as Loudoun County and Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Departments.

If you see green, the field is playable.; red indicates cancelled and a reference to "N/A' means game or practice time decision or the field status is unknown or yet to be updated by that time.

FOR DAYS WHERE THERE IS A STATUS OF N/A AND THERE IS LITTLE/LIGHT RAIN, PLEASE USE DISCRETION WHEN USING THE INFIELDS. IF YOU HAVE A PRACTICE, PLEASE USE THE OUTFIELD ONLY.

There are circumstances where the weather does not cooperate or changes after 4:15 pm on weekdays or 8:00 am weekends, so please use good judgement and stay in contact with your child's manager for more information.

For events on the weekend, even if morning activities are cancelled that is not necessarily an indication that all of the day's activities are cancelled. After further review of the fields, certain facilities may re-open later in the day.

You can always check school fields on the County rain line as well at 703-777-0456.
