Remove the rubber backstop pad. Keep spring clips attached to the pad (not the net).
Untie the ropes at the bottom of the nets at the 4 corner posts.
Disconnect the net from the top outer cables. Keep the spring clips attached to the cables (not the net).
Disconnect the net from the top middle cable. Keep the spring clips attached to the cable (not the net).
Untie the ropes at the top end posts (total of 6 ropes).
With the net lying on the ground, fold it lengthwise several times so that it is no wider than 3.5'.
Starting at the home plate end of the net, roll the net tightly towards the pitcher's mound end (the end with the door opening is considered the pitchers' mound end).
Place the net in it’s storage container (large trash can located in Maintenance shed).
Place Pitcher's L-screen in Maintenance Shed.
Batting Cage Assembly:
Remove the net from it's storage container.
Place the rolled up net on the batting cage slab, between the posts at the Pitcher's mound end.
Unroll the net towards the home plate end of the cage. Unfold the net lengthwise.
Find the 4 top corners of the net and tie the ropes to the end frames.
Tie the 2 top middle ropes to the end frames.
Secure the net to the cables with the spring clips. Start with the middle cable, then the two outer cables. The net is reinforced with a rope along the top edges and top middle for attaching the spring clips.
Tie the ropes at the bottom of the 4 corner posts.
Secure the rubber backstop pad to the home plate end of the net.
Place the Pitcher's L-screen inside the batting cage.
